Meet Our OM Teachers
Ania Wazny
Somatic Yoga Teacher
-
Ania is a somatic yoga instructor, mother of two, and space-holder for people navigating intensity, both in life and in the body. Her work was born through lived experience, where she began to notice a gap in the wellness space; practices that focused on mindset, while often overlooking the body’s patterns of tension, bracing, and stored stress.
She brings a nervous system–informed approach to yoga, weaving together somatic practices, breathwork, and slow, intentional movement to help students reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels safe, honest, and sustainable. Her teaching is rooted in the understanding that how we experience sensation, whether in a yoga class, in moments of stress, or during major life transitions, shapes how safe we feel in our bodies.
Her classes are not about achieving a pose, but about building awareness, softening habitual tension, and learning how to stay with sensation, without overwhelm. Ania creates spaces that are grounding and intuitive, where students are invited to meet themselves exactly where they are.
-
500+ hours of training across yoga, meditation, breathwork, somatic yoga, and children’s yoga
Ongoing self-study and immersion in nervous system–informed practices

After years of valuing a healthy lifestyle, I took a bold and meaningful step at 49 to become a certified Pilates instructor. What started as a personal commitment to staying strong and centered, evolved into a passion for helping others experience the same transformation.
For the past year, I’ve been teaching Pilates with a focus on building strength, improving mobility, and cultivating a sense of calm through movement. I believe that true wellness comes from both physical strength and mental balance, and my approach reflects that connection.
Becoming an instructor later in life has shown me that growth has no age limit. I’m dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where clients feel empowered, supported, and inspired to take care of their bodies and minds.

At Immersive Om, we believe movement is more than exercise—it’s a bodyful journey. Our classes, spaces, and experiences are designed to awaken your senses, balance your energy, and connect you to yourself in every moment. Here, tradition meets innovation, and every practice is an invitation to explore, feel, and grow.
We blend centuries-old wisdom with modern immersive projection and soundscape, somatic science, movement, and multi-sensory experiences. Breath, meditation, and intentional movement guide each student to reconnect with themselves and elevate their energy — from grounding to expansive, from core to subtle.
Both Yasi and Mike have deep roots in the ashram tradition and have been initiated into their spiritual names and mantras, a practice that continues to guide their work and teaching.
Yasi: Initiated as Parvati, representing divine strength, nurturing energy, and the power of transformation. This name reflects Yasi’s dedication to supporting others in awakening their inner resilience and creativity.
Mike: Initiated as Narayana, symbolizing divine preservation, balance, and the sustaining energy of life. This name reflects Mike’s commitment to guiding others toward alignment, harmony, and grounded presence in their practice.
At Immersive Om, these teachings and spiritual foundations are woven into every aspect of our classes and experiences, supporting both body and soul in a holistic, immersive journey.
Our Yoga Lineage
Both Mike and Yasi are rooted in the traditional yogic lineage of the Sivananda organization, with their education certified by the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres. Having spent many years practicing, studying, and living within Sivananda ashrams, they devoted themselves to the disciplines of yoga, meditation, and breathwork as a way of life — not just a practice. Through deep respect for their teachers and lineage, they recognized a longing for the depth of ashram-style learning and experience closer to home. Immersive Om was born from that vision: to bring a little ashram into the city, blending ancient teachings with modern design, creativity, technology, and science.
our
yoga journey
At Immersive Om, yoga is a journey of progressive awakening. Our seven class experiences are designed as an energetic pathway — moving from grounding and physical foundation into strength, expansion, restoration, and inner awareness. Each layer of the journey supports not only the body, but the nervous system, breath, and subtle energy, guiding you toward balance, clarity, and deeper connection with yourself. Whether you begin at the base or explore the higher expressions, every class is part of a cohesive path of transformation.
our
mat + reformer pilates journey
Our Pilates journey is a study in precision, control, and intelligent strength. Through mat and reformer practices, movement evolves from foundational alignment into fluid coordination and dynamic power. Each level refines posture, builds deep core awareness, and cultivates effortless stability. The result is a body that feels strong, balanced, and beautifully organized — supporting vitality, longevity, and ease in everyday movement.
